Micromanaging Your Nanny

  1. When you give a task, you feel a strong need to specify or approve exactly how it will be done.
  2. You feel that your way is the only way.
  3. The nanny has very little input or suggestions, if any.
  4. You want to know what happens almost every hour and you expect a detailed explanation of every task or duty pertaining to your children.
  5. If an explanation is not explained the way you expect it, then you assume the task was not done correctly. Remember that you hired the nanny to do the task for you.
  6. You give instructions to the nanny rather than suggestions (this does not apply for safety issues)!
